The meaning of Phool Chatti is a land of flowers. This ashram has mountains, a garden, and beautiful natural views in its surroundings, so it is named Phool Chatti. It was established by Sri Devi Dayal Ji Maharaj in the late 1800s. He was a popular sadhu and founded this ashram to serve his fellow sadhus and pilgrims who visit this holy place.

On the banks of the Ganga, this Ashram is a great place for yoga, meditation, and other spiritual activities. It has a natural environment and provides a unique experience to visitors. It is a place where you can witness an excellent integration of Hindu tradition with modern lifestyle. 

Stay Facilities and Other Services 

Phool Chatti Ashram offers room facilities to provide proper accommodation to pilgrims. They have single and double rooms, and these rooms have basic facilities for a better stay experience. Some rooms also provide stunning views of the Ganga River. 

This ashram provides Indian traditional vegetarian food that consists of fruit salad, porridge, dal, rice, roti, fresh vegetable curries, chutneys, fresh salad, chili sauce, etc. They provide breakfast, launch, and dinner to pilgrims. Further, they provide a small kitchen for preparing snacks and drinks.    

Things To Do in Phool Chatti Ashram  

The ashram is situated on the banks of the Ganges in the Himalayan foothills and has a peaceful environment for meditation and yoga. In this environment, your mind will be calm and make you feel relaxed. Here you can learn different techniques of meditation and attain inner peace. 

They conduct yoga programs where they teach yoga poses, meditation, pranayama, chanting, and many other things. They give lectures on spirituality and yoga classes that help in the self-development of students. 

The ashram has a beautiful garden where they grow different varieties of flowers and chilies. You can spend some time in the garden and feel close to nature. Sri Swami Dev Swarup Nanda Ji manages all activities in this ashram since 1977.

Entry Fee and Timings 

To visit this ashram, there is no entry fee. The visiting timings of this ashram are 6 am to 9 pm. This is a must-visit place for those who love to practice yoga and meditation in a natural environment. 

How To Reach 

You can access this place by bus, taxi, or your own vehicle. It is 5 kilometers far from the Laxman Jhula and 6 kilometers from the Rishikesh Railway Station. It is 20 kilometers from the Dehradun Airport.
